Spanish Pass Marsh & Ridge Creation (BA-0203)

About this Project

The Spanish Pass Marsh & Ridge Creation project was built using sediment dredged from the Mississippi River to create nearly 1,670 acres of new land, which includes 1,538 acres of marsh and 132 acres of ridge planted with vegetation.  Timbalier Resources served as CPRA's lead land service contractor helping secure necessary servitude interest for the project.  Known for being extremely technical title, Timbalier's team cured several extremely difficult title conflicts by using historic survey data analysis.  Timbalier also provided a custom online pipeline and utility report for the state to place all operators on notice of the upcoming project.
