City of Savannah BRIC Flood Reduction Project

Working with partner grant firm, Rostan Solutions, Timbalier Resources provided policy and technical assistance on the development of a successful $42 million flood mitigation grant application for the City of Savannah.   The project will include both a canal widing along the City's Springfield Canal and stormwater drainage improvements for the Carver Village and Cloverdale neighborhood.  Using what is called a "phased" mitigation project, Timbalier Resources ensured the City will receive funding for both engineering and design as well as construction.  Construction is anticipated to begin in Q1 of 2024.
