Golden Triangle Marsh Creation Project (PO-163)

About this Project

The purpose of this project is to create 600 acres of new wetland habitat, restore degraded marsh, and reduce wave erosion in Golden Triangle, a narrow band of brackish marsh that serves as an important natural buffer in the multiple lines of defense protecting geographically and socially vulnerable communities in New Orleans from storm surge. Timbalier Resources served as CPRA's lead land service contractor helping secure necessary servitude interest for the project.  It is here that Timbalier began integrating the State's design data with land rights to create an online mapping resource for centralized land rights focus for the entire team.
