Lake Providence Port Authority Planning Grant

Timbalier Resources' partnership with Lake Providence Port Commission highlights the unique value derived from our interconnected services.  Originally procured as a land rights specialist, Timbalier Resources asked LPPC's administration to take a look at several federal grant opportunities that could help plan for and advance large scale infrastructure improvements for the region.  The LPPA was recently awarded two planning grants to help fund a region-wide Master Plan for the LPPC, Tensas Parish Port Commission, Vidial Port Commission, and Northeast Louisiana Railroad District.  These funds are a much needed early investment in northeast Louisiana, a marginalized region within the state, to help build a highly disciplined long-term plan for economic growth along the Mississippi River.  We look forward to seeing LPPC's administration do great things for this region.
